John has more than 30 years of business experience at Fortune 500 companies in sales, operations, planning, and strategy development. He has served as a consultant to governments, non-profit organizations and health care providers on operational improvement.

​

He also has nearly 10 years of experience as a consultant to small business owners, focusing on operational excellence and growth.

​

Passionate about education, John holds a Ph.D. in history, teaching courses in history and business strategy at the University of Rochester and the Dolan School of Business at Fairfield University. And he has led workshops for small business owners on sales, marketing, operations, and financial management. 

​

As a volunteer, John served as chair on several non-profit boards – church, the Norwalk Youth Symphony – and currently serves on the board of Clasp Homes which provides live-in and recreational services to people on the autism spectrum.

​

A husband, father and grandfather, John and his wife, Clara, have been married for 40 years. They are the proud parents of two amazing daughters and grandparents of two awesome granddaughters. (Their sons-in-law are pretty terrific, too!)
